How 21 brands size a women’s 6 to 10
The foot length each brand’s own chart gives for the sizes most women wear, against the standard. A brand whose 8 is for a longer foot runs large by its chart: for the same foot you may need a smaller number there. Fila’s and Liberty’s women’s charts give a much longer foot for the same number, more than a size and a half longer than the standard: check them before you buy.
Most brands here (18 of 21) run large by their charts: on average they give each women’s size a foot at least a quarter size (2.1 mm) longer than the standard tables, so by their charts the same foot is a smaller number. For adidas, ANTA, HEYDUDE, HOKA, Jordan, New Balance, Nike, Salomon, SOREL, Timberland and UGG, part of the difference is that their charts put women’s sizes 1 above men’s, where the standard tables use 1½.

Women’s sizes in men’s sizes
The men’s column in the chart is the standard: men’s = women’s − 1½. By their own foot lengths, most brands with both charts are 1 apart (adidas, ANTA, HEYDUDE, HOKA, Jordan, KEEN, New Balance, Nike, Salomon, SOREL, Timberland and UGG). Each size has its own page with the brands’ rows: women’s 8 in men’s. The men’s chart runs the other way.
