How it works

    Paper against the wall

    Put a sheet of A4 or US Letter paper on the floor, short edge touching the wall.

The paper is the ruler

A sheet of paper is a ruler everyone owns.

Printer paper comes in exact sizes. We find the sheet’s four corners and flatten the photo to a fixed scale, so the angle and distance of your phone stop mattering. Then we measure your foot against the white paper, from the wall to your longest toe.

One half size is only 4.2 mm, so the measurement has to be good to about 2 mm. Everything runs on your phone; the photo is never uploaded.
