US 8 in EU and UK sizes
A men’s US 8 is EU 39.5–40.5 and UK 7; a women’s US 8 is EU 38–38.5 and UK 5.5 by the standard size tables.
The men’s fits a foot of 25.0 to 25.4 cm and the women’s fits a foot of 23.7 to 24.1 cm. A kids’ 8C is much smaller: EU 24–25, for a foot of up to 15.0 cm.
