Brazil uses Paris points like Europe, numbered 2 below EU sizes (a 40 is an EU 42).
Brazil 39 fits a foot up to 26.0 cm: a men’s US 8–9, women’s US 9.5–10.5, UK 7–8, EU 40.5–41.
Brazil sizes on brand labels
Only two brands we track print Brazil sizes on their charts (On and Onitsuka Tiger), and 20 of the 40 US sizes they print beside them match the standard’s. Where more than one of them prints a size, they give it the same US size on 15 of 18 sizes. So each brand’s own US size is shown: find the size on your shoes and the brand you’re buying.

Here, as in our calculator, a foot gets the first size at least as long as it, so a size fits feet longer than the size before it, up to its own length, so you never get a size shorter than your foot. Where that range spans more than one size elsewhere, all of them are shown.
About sizes in Brazil
- Europe minus 2
- SENAI-RS Quadro 1 lists Brazil 2 below Europe on every row (e.g. Brasil 39 = Europa 41). ABNT NBR 14834 starts baby sizes at 14.
Children’s shoes use the same scale. Kids’ sizes has every size with its foot length.
Brands whose own charts print Brazil sizes: On, Onitsuka Tiger. On their charts, 23 of 47 rows give a different US size from the standard conversion above, so for those brands go by the brand’s own chart.
